Obituary for Hazel M. Hahn (Law)

Hazel M. Hahn, 96, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Lutheran Living in Muscatine. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12 at 10:00 A.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Casket Bearers will be Rob Howard, Ray Wetzel, Thomas Allen Hahn, John Hahn, Thomas Beckham Hahn, Curtis Hahn and Daniel Hahn. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery after the service. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the American Legion Post #27. Visitation for Hazel will be held on Thursday, June 11 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Hazel’s name. Hazel M. Law was born on December 8 1918 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Ray Bradley and Bertha D. (Cassabaum) Law. Hazel was united in marriage to Linden Lee Hahn, Sr. She enjoyed walking, dancing and pets.

Hazel will be deeply missed by her sons, Linden (“Sonny”) Hahn, Jr., Jerold Hahn and wife, Sharon and James Hahn and wife Donna, all of Muscatine; 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Linda Logel and Patricia Brockert; sons Leslie “Ike” Hahn, Norman Hahn, Thomas Hahn and Denny Hahn; and brother Lionel Law.
