Although not licenced funeral directors, these members of our staff are vitally important toward the operation of our firm. These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.

She and her husband Gregory now live on a small acreage near Columbus Junction where they raised their two sons, Eric and Shaun. Gail earned her AA degree from Southeast Iowa Community College and her BA degree from Northeast Missouri State University, now Truman State University. She is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, the Columbus Junction Lions Club and the Allen Wright Hanft American Legion Post 100 Auxiliary. When not at the office Gail enjoys camping, traveling, bargain shopping, emailing, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family and friends. |

Michael and his wife, Marcia have three children and four grandchildren. Michael earned his Bachelors degree from Westmar College and his Masters degree from the University of Iowa. He is an active member of both the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church and the Columbus Lions Club. Michael has been the recipient of the Iowa Social Studies Teacher of the Year award, the Southeast Iowa Volunteer of the Year award and the inaugural Columbus Masonic Lodge Teacher of the Year award. In his free time, Michael enjoys reading, spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, creating DVD's of his family, and visiting with his former students. |

She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1972 and then went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Marycrest College. Cindy and her husband, Randy, together have three children, three grandchildren and two dogs. She is a member of the First Christian Church and volunteers with the Muscatine Humane Society Auxiliary. When not busy with work, Cindy enjoys reading, cooking, baking, swimming, playing with the dogs and spending time with her friends and family. |

| Mary LaRue, Housekeeping Mary began with the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in 1999 and is a valuable asset to the staff. She is a hard worker and handles the antique furniture with great care. She and her husband, Sam, live in Fredonia. |

 | Earlene Lekwa, Visitation Greeter Earlene Lekwa was born in Columbus Junction and graduated from Columbus High School. She graduated from the Burlington Beauty Academy and was a licensed cosmetologist for twenty years in Columbus Junction. Earlene taught preschool for 8 years before joining the Lewis Funeral Homes staff in 2004. Earlene and her husband Verl have two sons and four grandchildren. She is a member of the Columbus City United Methodist Church where she serves as Lay Leader. She is a member of the church choir and helps with Sunday School. Earlene is active in the community, belonging to the Columbus Lions Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Columbus Community Club, Etude Music Club, Columbus Women's Organization and serving on the Columbus Children's Center Board. She has also served one term as Columbus Junction Mayor. Earlene's hobbies include quilting, singing, spending time with the grandchildren and working in her flower beds. |
 | Erna Moeller, Visitation Greeter Erna will be starting her 6th year with the Lewis Homes for Funeral and Cremations Services. She is the visitation greeter at the Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree, Iowa. Erna has lived her entire life in Lone Tree. She was a graduate of the Lone Tree High School and the Burlington Beauty Academy. Erna had worked as a hairdresser for 35-years owning and operating La Boutique Styling Salon and later Erna's Styling Salon. Erna had also worked at the Lone Tree Community School for 8 years as a certified para-educator. Erna currently resides in Lone Tree with her husband, Robert. She has two sons, Jeff and Jason and 5 grandchildren. |
