Carol M. Raub, 90, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Lutheran Living in Muscatine. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Interment will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Wesley United Methodist Church. Visitation for Carol will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the Wesley United Methodist Church or Lutheran Living in Carols’ name. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Carol Marita Martin was born on December 24, 1923 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of William Percival and Eva Pearl (Duncan) Martin. On November 15, 1945, Carol was united in marriage to Arthur B. Raub at the Sweetland Methodist Church. In her earlier years before marriage, she was employed in the office at Huttig Manufacturing. She later retired from Batterson’s Department Store after 23-years. Carol was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. She was an avid Hawkeye fan; she was able to attend some games but never missed a football or basketball game on tv. She enjoyed participating in the activities at Lutheran Living and especially Bingo and Deal or No Deal.

Carol will be deeply missed by her daughter, Deanna Bocchino and her husband, Arthur of Muscatine; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on July 17 1994; and two sisters, Doris Coram and Bonnie Littrel.
