The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Cleo Dodson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: James&Lisa Ward
Condolence: Time moves so swiftly when a person works a job outside of the home! We are not always able to cover all aspects of a persons life until long after the loss of one so dear! We are so sorry that we have lost another fine fellow in the neighborhood. May you find peace and comfort in the prayers and wishes that are sent by all of us! We will miss our neighborly chats along the driveway!

Condolence From: Terry Kruse, Commander, Lone Tree American Legion
Condolence: On behalf of myself and the members of the Legion Post we want to offer our deepest sympathy to Cleo's family and friends. We honor and thank him for his service to God, our Community, State and Nation. He was a faithful participant in Legion activities and especially with our Honor Guard. We thank him for his service to help maintain our freedom and to help bring freedom to millions of people around the world. May he rest in peace.

On a personal note I shall remember our conversations about aviation and our love of flying. I shall always remember watching the labor of love that Cleo and Kenny put into the building of their home built airplanes. They provided many good hangar flying stories to our conversations. My condolences to Shirley and his family and many friends.

Condolence From: Charlie Becker
Condolence: Cleo & Shirley were among some of the very first folks I met, coming to Camp Courageous in 1980. For the past 35-years they have stayed active in the many camp activities, and have always been strong advocates. Cleo had a million adventures in his life, and I always enjoyed the opportunity when he would share them with me. He was a wonderful gentleman in every sense of the word! He will be dearly missed. Our sympathy goes out to Shirley, along with family and friends.
