They have lived on the Dallmeyer family farm east of Columbus Junction all their married life.
She was a member of Indian Creek Club, formed in 1926 by a group of women living along Indian Creek road. It was a social and philanthropic club, with members enjoying breakfasts, wiener roasts, potlucks and fellowship throughout the years.
Throughout her life, Romelle enjoyed baking, needlework, playing cards, and listening to Daniel O’Donnell, but most of all she loved her church and family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
