Joyce E.  Voelpel-Estabrook
Joyce Voelpel-Estabrook, 79, of Muscatine passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Mike McAfee, officiating. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Visitation for Joyce will be held on Thursday, January 29th, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Joyce. Sympathy notes may be left to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Joyce Elaine Sissel was born on December 27, 1935, the daughter of Herman and Vera (Jones) Sissel. Joyce married William “Bill” Estabrook and upon his passing in 1988, she married Edward Voelpel on January 18, 2008 in Muscatine. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her dogs, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Joyce will be deeply missed by her husband, Edward of Muscatine; children, Mike Wakefield and wife, Cindy, of Grandview, Marla Wakefield of Muscatine, Lisa Munson and husband, Ronald, of Muscatine,; step-son, Dick Estabrook of Muscatine; ten grandchildren; one step-grandson; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Ella Mae Mangels and husband, Dick, of Florida.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her 2nd husband, son, Todd Estabrook, step-son, Ron Estabrook, and one grandson, Ben Estabrook.
