Obituary for Scott E. McGlasson Jr.

Scott E. McGlasson, 61, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at his home in Muscatine. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Scott. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Scott’s arrangements and his family.

Scott E. McGlasson was born on December 2, 1953, in Waukegan, Illinois the son of Scott Edward and Mary Darlene (Tomlinson) McGlasson. On December 2, 1982, Scott was united in marriage to Linda Cady in Muscatine. He was a general contractor who worked various jobs in the Muscatine area. Scott enjoyed mowing grass, motorcycles, NASCAR and the outdoors.

Scott will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda of Muscatine; children, Sabrina Sobaski and husband, Joe of Nixa, MO, Tina Schoneman and husband, James of Charleston, S.C., Gloria Keim of Muscatine, Katy Trimble of Muscatine and Jeff Reinier of Muscatine; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 11 brothers and sisters.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
