Cleve L.  Reifert
Cleve Reifert, 74, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, Texas, after a six month battle with cancer.

A Graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is handling the local arrangements and caring for Cleve’s family.

Cleve was born on August 30, 1940, to John R. and Gertrude Nichol Reifert. He married Patricia Bixby in 1960. They had two sons, Darrin and Doyle J. Reifert. They later divorced. He married Jane Steckman on February 14, 1986.

Cleve retired from Grain Processing Corporation in 1995 after 30 years of service. He had served as President of Distillery Workers Local 86 for 23 years.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Reifert of Muscatine; two sons, Darrin Reifert and wife, Danielle, of Georgia, and Doyle Reifert of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his brother, Jack Reifert and wife, Ruth, of Leesburg, Florida; and his sister, Sue Martin and husband, Bill, of Muscatine.
