Obituary for Ronald Guy Esmoil

Ronald Guy  Esmoil
Ronald G. Esmoil, 71, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2015 at his home in Muscatine. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Casket Bearers will be Gordon Esmoil, Mark Esmoil, Matt Esmoil, Jesse Esmoil, Colton Heuer and Bryce Esmoil. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room. Visitation for Ronald will be held on Saturday, from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Ronald’s name. Ronald Guy Esmoil was born on December 9, 1943 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Lyall and Lenore (Hopkins) Esmoil. Ronald was a graduate of Muscatine High School and was employed at Crossroads. He enjoyed walking, spending time and giving gifts to his nieces and nephews, going dumpster diving and visiting the farm.

Ronald will be deeply missed by his siblings, James Esmoil of Madison Wisconsin, Orval Esmoil and wife, Judy and Michael Esmoil and wife, Charlotte both of Muscatine; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cheryl Brenneman.
