Barbara Harriet Bierman, 93, of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Premier Estates. Per her request, no visitation or services will be held. Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center, located within Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Barbara’s family and the arrangements.

Barbara Harriet Brown was born on October 23, 1921 in Morning Sun Township, the daughter of Ernest Richard and June Berenice Della (Wyerman) Brown. In 1940, Barbara was united in marriage to Virgil Edward Bierman. Barbara enjoyed watching television and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her children, Jack (Linda) Bierman of Muscatine, Larry (Cheryl) Bierman of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Randy (Caroline) Bierman of Moore, Oklahoma and Barb Marshall of Muscatine; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Norma Brown of Muscatine.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil and one daughter, Sandra Kay Bierman.
